Project: Hardwood Deck & Spa Bath

Lance provided us with exactly what we required. A deck extension, garden box and perimeter glass frontage which maintains the lake views and also provides some protection from the strong afternoon lake breeze. The job has been expertly finished which is a fine example of his building expertise. We are very happy with the result and with the fact that it has added far more to the value of the property than the cost of the works.
A stunning hardwood deck has been the perfect finishing touch to this beautiful home set in a magnificent location overlooking Lake Macquarie.
The property already had a small tiled patio area overlooking the garden and water, but the owners were after extra outdoor entertainment space for family get-togethers and barbecues.
Cutting Edge Building extended the patio area with a generous hardwood deck, large enough to incorporate a fabulous spa in one corner.
A hardwood surround was also built for a vast planter positioned along the length of the deck, which is now alive with flowers.
Given the drop into the garden below, a transparent screen was erected to ensure the area was completely child friendly, while maintaining the 180° view of the lake.
Finally a hardwood ramp was constructed to ensure every member of the family could have easy access to the front lawn and lake shore.
